Gallinas Watershed Council expresses sincere appreciation and thanks to Jim Forsythe and his crew in the City of San Rafael Department of Public Works.

They acted quickly on our request for informational “NO DUMPING” street medallions for storm drains on North Merrydale Ave, underneath the Merrydale overcrossing. Jim’s DPW crew was able to find the right locations and place 16 medallions at this location right away!

We are extremely grateful for their swift action in helping protect our creeks, marsh and bay from illegal discharges and trash. This area of our watershed has a lot of foot traffic. These signs really help bring awareness to our community.
