About this event

The county is lucky to have a devoted group of people, some paid, and many unpaid, who have dedicated years to improving and maintaining the health of its creeks and watersheds.

There are many overlapping similarities and differences among Marin’s creeks—their histories, their current conditions, and their restoration potential. We felt that we could all benefit from awareness of challenges shared among many different watershed groups and agencies about what they’re doing to address the issues faced and what lessons have been learned along the way.

Please join us for a day of information gathering and sharing, as well as networking. Our hope is that we can learn from each other and contribute relevant solutions amongst practitioners. There will be an area available to share posters and resource information.

We envision this as a working session for those who are actively engaged in this work. We hope to learn from each other and come away with ideas and helpful resources to support our efforts as we move forward toward the improvement of Marin’s creeks!
