A tireless campaigner for the health of our beautiful watershed, Judy’s passing was a giant loss to so many of us. A graduate of UC Berkeley and lifelong environmentalist, Judy helped create the GWC Watershed Council in 2004 and never wavered in her commitment to its mission.

She also served on the board of the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District, was Chair of the Marin Group-Sierra Club Executive Committee, and worked with elementary school students at the Dixie Outdoor Classroom in Lucas Valley to foster stewardship of the natural world and empower kids to make a difference.
