Every January the Marin Civic Center hosts the BAY AREA ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION RESOURCE FAIR (BAEER Fair).

The BAEER Fair is full of resources and workshops for educators and students, as well as parents and children with a special interest in wildlife, ecology, and adventures in nature.

Discover the latest in classroom materials, environmental education programs, and field trip sites. Join in the fun and attend workshops introducing conservation and wildlife education, school gardens, and strategies for fostering environmental awareness!

The event is specially designed for teachers, community educators, students, families, and all concerned about the environment we share. The BAEER Fair is sponsored by the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley.

This year’s workshop topic cover:
• Community Action Projects
• Wildlife and Habitat Conservation
• Classroom and Outdoor Learning Activities and Curriculum
• Youth Projects

On January 19, 2013 please join the GWC and all the kids and grown-ups at the BAEER Fair to celebrate the environment through inventive interactive exhibits, informative workshops, and special presentations.
