Gallinas Creek King Tide Cleanup

Ever been on a King Tide Creek Cleanup?

GWC volunteers regularly clean up Gallinas Creek.

The best times are during the King Tides. These are the highest tides of the year – some are almost 7 feet!

Sound like fun? Anyone with a kayak or canoe can join the GWC as we clean up Gallinas Creek. And if you don’t have one you can still participate – just ask!

Date, Time & Place

Location & Directions

Put in at McInnis Boat Dock. McInnis County Park is located at 310 Smith Ranch Rd, San Rafael.

From Hwy 101 in San Rafael take exit 456 for Smith Ranch Rd east approximately 0.7 mile. Drive over the railroad tracks into the park entrance at the end of Smith Ranch Rd. Boat dock is near parking on right side as you enter the park.

The trash on the creek that washes up by high tides is easier to gather during a King Tide.
