Bike the Watershed 8!

Bike The Watershed VIII

MCBC and GWC organized our eighth annual bike ride & picnic!

On August 25, 2018 from 10 AM to 2 PM we rode our bikes from the Marin Civic Center on a scenic bike ride through the Gallinas Watershed in North San Rafael.

Our trip took us past the LGVSD ponds and along the levies through wetlands to the SMART train station in Hamilton. We hopped on SMART to head back for a picnic at the Civic Center lagoon.

Bike The Watershed” bicycle rides are easy, fun, and educational for young and old.

You just need a functioning bike and a helmet and SMART fare.

Regular stops along the way! Enjoy the scenery! Learn about our watershed. Celebrate the end with a picnic!
