Civic Center to China Camp
MCBC and GWC invite you to the seventh annual bike ride through Gallinas Watershed in North San Rafael on August 12, 2017 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
Our “Bike The Watershed” rides are easy, fun, and educational for young and old. You just need a functioning bike and a helmet. Young and old are all welcome.
Participants stop along the way to enjoy the scenery and discuss our watershed and its inhabitants. At the end there is a picnic!

Bike The Watershed VI 2016
2017 Route to China Camp
Here’s the route for the 2017 GWC Bike Ride.
We’re biking approx 11 miles from the Marin Civic Center to the famous ghost town in China Camp State Park and back.
The path we are taking is almost 100% on paved roads. There is one tiny hill and a few short inclines on the North San Pedro road going from the Civic Center to China Camp village.
This is an easy ride! We will have frequent stops and let people walk their bikes when needed at a couple of locations.
