Bike the Watershed VI
Our sixth annual bike ride through Gallinas Watershed in North San Rafael was enjoyed by all.
August 20, 2016 we had our annual fun bike ride. Our rides are easy, fun, and educational. All-ages can ride with us.
Participants including Supervisor Damon Connolly got to stop along the way to enjoy the scenery and discuss our watershed and its inhabitants.
In 2016 we biked along the new SMART tracks to the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District ponds and onto some of the nearby levies in our local wetlands.
Here’s the route for the 2016 GWC Bike Ride. Civic Center Lagoon to LGVSD and back. It’s about 13 miles and practically all flat.
