King Tides in January 2015 are from January 18-21. These are the highest tides of the year – some are almost 7 feet!

McInnis Park is located at 310 Smith Ranch Rd, San Rafael.
From Hwy 101 in San Rafael take exit 456 for Smith Ranch Rd East approximately 0.7 mile.
Boat dock and parking lot are on the right after you enter.

Activities
We will launch from McInnis boat rampa dn head upstream (West) on the North Fork of Gallinas Creek.
Along the way we will point out how the King Tide shows what the future has in store for Gallinas Creek with the effects of Sea Level Rise. After about 45 mins we will turn around to come back to the McInnis Boat ramp.

Bring your own:
- Boat or flotation device (canoe, kayak, etc)
- gloves
- hat
- sunscreen
- booties
- water bottle
- garbage bags (to pick up trash)
WARNING:
Watch out for VERY RAPID tides!
Plan your time on the water accordingly.
